| bravetheday is an alternative, roots based quartet from Harrisburg, PA whose sound falls somewhere between the ethereal swirls of The Sundays and cool earthiness of Cowboy Junkies with the dynamics of U2. Centered around the songwriting team of Josh Kesler who also plays acoustic and electric guitars and offers an occasional lead vocal, and Rebecca Miller who is the voice of bravetheday, this remarkably innovative band has been pied-pipering music fans everywhere they play. It is not unusual to hear audience members actually gasp with amazement when Rebecca sings, while the dynamic rhythms of bassist Ian Boccio and drummer Patrick Garrity coupled with Josh’s impeccable guitar arrangements always leave ‘em wanting more.
