Lloyd Paul was probably best known as the owner of one of the best recording studios in New York City called Skyline. As a producer he was insightful and very talented. Many NYC artists can thank him for many hours spent to make their music better than they thought possible. But once upon a time, Lloyd Paul began his own project that turned into Crying at the Circus. As a friend of Lloyd's I can tell you that I never even knew he could sing, let alone play various instruments and - especially - write such cool tunes as those that appear on this album, originally released on my indie label - 7Records in 1994.
